LAST CALL - Confirmation 2026 RegistrationList Item 1
There will be a meeting for late additions to our Confirmation program. If you are a rising high school junior who would like to be confirmed THIS fall, it is REQUIRED that you & at least one parent attend this meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5th at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville.
**This meeting is only required of those who did not attend the previous introductory meeting in May & still need a packet.**

CDA Back to School Supply DriveList Item 2
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas are collecting school supplies for OLPH school students on the weekends of July 25-26 and August 1-2. Supplies can be placed in the designated boxes at the Church entrances.

OLPH Swing Dancing: Charleston SeriesList Item 4
We are excited to announce that swing dance lessons will continue through the month of August on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. with our Charleston Series!
Please join us as Ken Tyrolf, a swing dance enthusiast and instructor, spends the evening teaching beginners the Charleston over a 4-week series. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have never stepped onto the dance floor before, everyone is welcome! Singles and couples are both encouraged to sign up. Come meet new people and enjoy a lively evening of music, fun, and fellowship - free of charge and no experience necessary.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
This year, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary falls on Saturday, August 15. Because it falls on a Saturday, it is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year. The Solemnity will be celebrated with Mass at 9:00 a.m. on August 15.

Food Pantry Reopening
The Food Pantry has officially reopened and is now open on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Our Food Pantry volunteers prepare and distribute groceries to those in need throughout our community.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, located in Rivertown in Kenner, Louisiana since 1869, is dedicated to proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truths of the Roman Catholic Church. The parish offers numerous opportunities for prayer and faith development. Sunday and daily Masses are offered, along with special Masses and devotions to Our Lord, Our Lady and the saints. There is a Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel which fosters the parish’s strong devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. Various service groups and prayer groups afford the faithful opportunities to grow in their knowledge and service of God and neighbor.
