Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, located in Rivertown in Kenner, Louisiana since 1869, is dedicated to proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truths of the Roman Catholic Church.  The parish offers numerous opportunities for prayer and faith development.  Sunday and daily Masses are offered, along with special Masses and devotions to Our Lord, Our Lady and the saints.  There is a Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel which fosters the parish’s strong devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.  Various service groups and prayer groups afford the faithful opportunities to grow in their knowledge and service of God and neighbor.

This week we will enter into 3 on the most solemn days of the Liturgical Year, the Paschal Triduum. It consists of Holy Thursday, Mass of the Lord's Supper, Good Friday veneration of the Cross & Holy Communion and Holy Saturday Easter Vigil Mass.

The Paschal Triduum is on single liturgical celebration. Thursday and Friday the congregation should leave in silence. Friday and Saturday the congregation should enter in silence.

During these 3 days we focus on the sacrifice of Christ and all He has suffered for us. Whether at church or at home, we can spend some special time in prayer meditating on what He has done for us and what He has done for us and what He contiues to gives us.

May this celebration increase our joy and blessings of the Easter Season.
